Hi, I’m peggy witzel.

As a professional bookkeeper with over 30 years of accounting and office management experience working for small businesses in the GTA, plus 4 years of corporate accounting with large companies, I offer diversified industry perspective. Since recently relocating to the Simcoe area, I have been building my own freelance bookkeeping business since January 2020. I am knowledgeable, detail oriented, responsible, reliable, dedicated and committed to my clients. I have a highly flexible work schedule outside of typical work hours so that I can accommodate my clients’ needs.

I have been fortunate enough to build and grow a network of professional resources to assist with very efficient troubleshooting as needed. I am highly proficient in QuickBooks Desktop and Online, Sage Online and ERP, Excel, as well as some industry specific programs and SAP. With multiple bookkeeping certifications, I am constantly searching for new, more efficient solutions for my clients and their books.


My Approach

 

I truly enjoy meeting new clients and alleviating them of the stress associated with bookkeeping so that they can focus on their businesses. After years of working for corporate companies in the GTA, I am now fortunate enough to be able to pursue what I am passionate about and help other entrepreneurs and small companies with their bookkeeping needs while building strong, lasting relationships.

Being located in Barrie, I am excited to work with local small businesses within the Simcoe and Muskoka regions in order to support the surrounding community. However, I am also open to working with businesses within the GTA.
